Changing default landing page for a site

So I have been fiddling around with our lovely SharePoint site and now I really want to sexyfy the site a bit more. Seeing as we spend a fortune on updating our internet site we would like to use some of that styling on our intranet site.

Go to a site’s main page > Site Settings > Look and Feel > Site Welcome Page (top right) Now you can make a pretty page to land on…

Now wasn’t that easy.
